Spaces

Prof’s has many spaces to be enjoyed which can be booked separately or as part of a whole Café and Oval package. With seating 80 inside and another 80 outside, plus with the option of adding marquees, Prof’s can cater for a few hundred people. Café hire depends on catering package and may be complementary.

Lounge Bar

Fully licensed with craft beer on tap a cosy reception area for events.

Solarium

A sunny indoor/outdoor space looking out to the cricket oval, this area can be used for smaller parties or catered functions for up to 50 people.

Pavilion

Popular for catered group events, this open sided structure has easy access to the cricket oval and children’s play area. The Pavilion can comfortably seat up to 40 people, but can be arranged as a party space for many more.

The Oval

Home to community cricket, the Oval can be hired for corporate cricket matches, and large events.

Food For Functions

At Prof’s, everything is made in-house by dedicated foodies. Our primary criteria around food is that it must be delicious. Then we design in other considerations such as accessibility to those with special dietary needs. Choose a menu from below to suit your occasion or ask about pre-ordering from our a la carte menu

Function Guide

If you have a group of over 15, talk to us about your function. Options are given in our Function Guide below, but we can provide a Bespoke menu for your special event. Two weeks notice required in advance for all functions, along with pre-payment for food.

Picnic Fare

Classic Kiwi buffet for groups of 20 and more with glazed ham, herbed chicken, and accompaniments $35 p/h.

BBQ

Charred to perfection and served directly from our charcoal BBQ by Prof’s chefs. Includes dessert. For groups of 30 or more. $55 p/h.

Finger Food

Light catering for receptions and other celebrations and can be as casual or elegant as the occasion demands. Suitable for groups over 15.
